lip stain

A little color on the lips is a simple way to pull an outfit together. Lately, I have been all about the stained lip instead of the perfectly lined and shaped matte lipstick. Essentially almost any formula (gloss, lipstick, balm, liquid lipstick, etc.) can have a stained effect by applying a modest swipe and dabbing with the finger to blend out. The look is slightly sheer and reapplication is necessary, however, it is worth it to me. Often I’ll sport this effortless look with an equally undone (aka messy) hair bun. These are a couple of my current favorites.
