Today’s blog post is an exciting one. I recently worked with an amazing photographer, Kayla, for these beautiful photos. With a wall of magenta flowers as our background, we had a blast during that special golden hour. Not much to say here, except, enjoy these joyful photos (I’ve never smiled this much) and check out Kayla’s work here.
Isn’t her work amazing? This look can be best described as boho-folk-band chic. If you are following me on Instagram, you may have already gotten a few sneak peeks of this. I have gotten so much wear out of this white slip dress from Everlane. The material is substantial as not to be sheer and therefore look too akin to an actual nightgown. The floral kimono complements the flowers and the greens so well. The intricate design with subtle sheer portions and velvet details make it visually interesting.
To top it off (pun intended) is this wide-brim hat that has been living on my head since I wore it for Stagecoach. You’d think I never loved a hat this much. Did I also mention that it’s on sale at Forever 21 for $13? Well, now I have. The navy hat brings out the blue tones of the kimono and that of the sock booties. Switch out the shoes, throw on a leather jacket, and add layered necklaces; I will be wearing this style formula for summer concerts, backyard barbeques, brunches, and the like.
So many reasons to smile. See you next week for more style, skincare, and makeup. Please leave below what you would like to see here on the blog.
